1. Acceptance of Terms

ghostp1lot is an AI-powered platform designed to assist users with managing homework-related workflows, including but not limited to: parsing assignment instructions, generating draft content, providing explanations and summaries, and organizing information for study and productivity purposes. The Service may incorporate artificial intelligence models and third-party technologies.

The Service is provided solely as a tool for assistance, automation, and learning support. We do not guarantee any particular grade, academic outcome, performance improvement, or result. All outputs generated by the Service should be carefully reviewed, edited, and verified by the User for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness.

You expressly acknowledge and agree that you assume full and exclusive responsibility and liability for any and all uses of the Service, including any consequences arising from your use of the Service in connection with academic work. ghostp1lot is not responsible or liable for any disciplinary actions, academic penalties, failed assignments, failing grades, suspensions, expulsions, or other adverse outcomes related to your use or misuse of the Service.

You agree to review, edit, and verify all content generated by the Service before using or submitting it in any context; to provide proper attribution and citations where required; and to disclose use of AI tools to your institution whenever required by applicable policies. Any use of the Service in violation of this Section constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate suspension or termination of your access to the Service, without notice or liability to you.

5. User Content and License

"User Content" means any data, text, files, documents, links, assignments, prompts, or other materials you upload, input, or otherwise provide to the Service, as well as any outputs you choose to save or associate with your account. As between you and ghostp1lot, you retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the licenses granted herein.

6. License and Acceptable Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, ghostp1lot grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service solely for your personal, non-commercial, and lawful purposes.

You agree that you will not, and will not attempt to: reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of any part of the Service; copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Service; use the Service to develop a competing product or service; bypass or attempt to defeat any security or authentication mechanisms; use the Service for any illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes; interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; or use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers except as expressly permitted in writing by ghostp1lot.

You are solely responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on content generated by the Service. Any information, suggestions, or content provided by the Service is for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute professional, legal, academic, or other advice.

8. Fees, Payments, and Subscriptions

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ghostp1lot expressly disclaims all warranties, representations, and conditions, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, title, quiet enjoyment, and accuracy or reliability of any content or output.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, ghostp1lot does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free; that any defects will be corrected; that the Service will meet your requirements, academic or otherwise; or that any particular outcome (including academic grades or performance) will be achieved through use of the Service. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT OR OUTPUT, IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. YOU ARE FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL CONSEQUENCES OF SUCH USE.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall ghostp1lot, its affiliates, licensors, or service providers, or their respective officers, directors, employees, or agents, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service; any content or output generated by the Service; any conduct or content of any third party; or unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your data, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, even if ghostp1lot has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ghostp1lot's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid to ghostp1lot in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

Without limiting anything else in these Terms, ghostp1lot shall NOT be liable for any academic, institutional, disciplinary, or professional consequences arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to failed assignments, failing grades, academic probation, suspension, expulsion, degree revocation, or any other adverse action or outcome. YOU ACCEPT FULL AND EXCLUSIVE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ALL SUCH RISKS.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ghostp1lot and its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use or misuse of the Service; your User Content; your violation of these Terms; your violation of any law or regulation; or your violation of any third-party or institutional rights, including academic integrity policies.

ghostp1lot reserves the right, at your expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify ghostp1lot, and you agree to cooperate with our defense of such claims. You may not settle any claim without the prior written consent of ghostp1lot.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction selected by ghostp1lot, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact ghostp1lot and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. To the extent permitted by applicable law, any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration before a single arbitrator, under the rules of a recognized arbitration organization, rather than in court. You understand and agree that, by entering into these Terms, you and ghostp1lot are each waiving the right to a trial by jury or to participate in a class action.
